Impact of Hope (IOH) is an annual fundraiser that began in Spartanburg about 10 years ago. Funds support members of the local community who have extraordinary medical needs. Southside Church has been a host site for this fundraiser on three separate occasions, and over the years, we have even helped to support two of our own members through this ministry: Hannah Bresette and Kegan Brown.
This year, church members Brooks and Penny Shaw led the charge by selling t-shirts and helping with the big fundraising event last night at Upward Star Center. Today, they shared this fantastic news with our congregation: IOH raised over $10,000 to help two local families this year! We are SO proud that our congregation contributed over $600 to that victory! Thank you, Brooks and Penny, for all your hard work getting our congregation involved in this!
