Morning and evening worship service each day

with extremely hype music and a fantastic speaker. Small group Bible studies with our leaders. Extremely hype competitive challenges where we as the Surge blue team try to defeat the Shock yellow team. Lots of free time, a fun shop with coffee, paddle boards, kayaks, volleyball, basketball, ping-pong, and paid activities that we build into the trip, like Aqua Park and Black Light Bazooka Ball. We typically get the pool to ourselves for one night.

Cost is $250, the church covers about half, and that’s what’s remaining. We take two 15 passenger vans and two SUVs. We stay in dorm like housing usually four to a room with a bathroom and two double beds. Linens are typically included. We eat in a cafeteria that has solid dependable various foods. I feel like we eat pretty well while we are there!

About Southside's Youth Ministry

We strive to help teenagers grow in their relationships with Jesus, and each other. Through weekly events on Wednesday and Sunday Nights, and multiple off site trips each year, students are presented the Gospel often, along with exciting activities and team building opportunities!

Weekly Events

We meet each Sunday Morning from 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM in the main Youth room downstairs for a large group activity and Bible Study. We have four excellent adult teachers who rotate in leading the group each week.

Sunday Morning: 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM

Wednesday Nights include supper, high energy games, worship, and a discussion centric devotion from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM in the main Youth room. Feel free to hang out after for 9 square, ping pong, and other chill games.

Wednesday Nights: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

A smaller group of Youth meets in the main Youth room on Sunday Nights from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. We eat a meal, play a game in the gym or outside, then participate in a discussion led by one of the students.
