Tuesday

Young Adults meet on Tuesdays from 6:30 PM – 8 PM in a host home for Dinner and Bible Study. If interested, call Chris Bobo at (864) 680-0358.

College/Career groups also meet on Tuesdays from 6 - 8 PM @ the Bobo Home for Bible study.

Friday

Men meet on Friday mornings from 7:00 - 8:00 AM at A.S. Bobo Real Estate for Bible Study.

Wednesday Night Family Meal

The Wednesday Night Meal will take place each Wed. Night at 5:00 pm in the Café.

If you are not on our Regular Attendee list and would like to be added, please email Sonya in the office, sonya@southsidechurch.com or call 864-585-3241 Ext. 101. 

We look forward to our time of fellowship and good food!  Cost is the same as last season, as follows:

Adults: $8/ Youth $7/ Child $4/ Children 3 and Under - Free/ (Max $25 per family)

Cubbies (3-5 year olds) will finish up at 7:15.
Pickup from the Preschool Suite.

Sparks (K5-2nd Grade) and T&T (3rd-6th Grade) will finish up at 7:30.   Pickup at the WELCOME CENTER.

New Ladies Bible Study

February 27th at 10:15 am

We will start a new Tuesday am Bible Study entitled ‘He Speaks to Me’  by Priscilla Shirer. It begins Feb. 27th in the Johnston Room at 10:15am. This is a 7 week study. You will need to order your workbook from Lifeway or Amazon. Please sign up at the Women’s Ministry table if you plan to attend the study.

VBS Items Needed

The VBS Team needs your help!  We are collecting empty, clean Peanut Butter jars (clear with lids) and label removed, for VBS.  We need 100 jars, 16 ounces or larger.  You may drop off at the church office.

“For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” - Matthew 25:35-36.
 

Their Mission
Greater Spartanburg Ministries provides emergency assistance to Spartanburg

 

County residents who are experiencing times of crisis. By feeding the body and the soul, we reach our goal of providing care ministries so that we can share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
 

They offer a food pantry, thrift store, heating and ac assistance, and fire victims assistance.
 

Food is distributed on Mondays and Thursdays from 9am – 11am.
They are located at 680 Asheville Highway in Spartanburg.

Items needed are

Canned fruits or vegetables, peanut butter, rice, noodles,
mac & cheese, cereals, grits, oatmeal and Poptarts.

 

You may drop off your items in the Welcome Center or church office!
