We believe that the essentials of being church can be summed up in these words:
CONNECT, GROW, SERVE, GO!
CONNECT – to God (worship) and to His people
“...The Father seeks worshipers...and His worshippers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24
“you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
Ephesians 2:19 (ESV)
GROW – in Christ-like character and living
“Let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity...” Hebrews 6:1
SERVE – using God-given gifts, skills, and resources to build up the Body of Christ
“God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity can flow through you.”
1 Peter 4:10 (NLT)
GO – sharing one’s faith in Christ in the context of relationships and seeking to make disciples of others.
“Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?” Romans 10:13-14 (NLT)
“And the things that you heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”
2 Timothy 2:2
