Groovy Grans

Groovy Grans was originally a group of women who have one thing in common, we are "Grandmothers". Our objective was to pray for our grandchildren and do a different project for children and groups in our community. We have grown from an average attendance of 8 women attending to now we average 28 at our meetings. At our Christmas get together we had 38. As the years have progressed, we realized there are many women who have a Grandmother Heart, who do not have grandchildren but have a love for children. We now have mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers in our group. Many have brought friends who are not members of Southside. A typical meeting consists of a meal, devotion, prayer requests, birthday recognition and a project. If you want to be a part of fun and fellowship, please consider joining.
